SCRT tracks upcoming US rocket launches: countdowns, delay/scrub alerts, Go-for-Launch and Hold alerts, and the launch outcome (success, failure, or partial failure) once it flies. It covers every major US launch site — Florida, California, Texas, Virginia, and beyond.

Open any launch’s detail screen and tap the star icon in the top-right corner. The first time you do this, iOS will ask for notification permission — allow it to receive alerts for that launch. You can track as many launches as you like from Settings → Tracked Launches.
Each of these can be turned on or off individually in Settings → Alerts.
Home Screen widgets refresh periodically on a schedule managed by iOS, not by the app directly — this is normal iOS behavior for all widgets, not specific to SCRT. Opening the app refreshes it immediately. If it’s been stale for more than a few hours, check Settings → General → Background App Refresh is enabled for SCRT.
Weather comes from Apple’s WeatherKit and requires location or pad coordinates to be available. If a launch doesn’t have confirmed pad coordinates yet, or WeatherKit is briefly unavailable, the card will say so rather than show incorrect data.
It’s a Premium feature that estimates whether a given launch will be visible from your location — based on your distance to the pad, whether it’s day or night, the rare “twilight plume” effect, and the forecast sky conditions. It requires Premium because computing a personalized estimate per launch is meaningfully more than the free tier’s launch tracking.
Premium ($1.99/month or $14.99/year) unlocks:
All three work immediately at the moment of purchase.
Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through your Apple ID — SCRT never sees your payment details. Go to Settings (the iOS Settings app) → your name → Subscriptions, or use the “Manage Subscription” link inside SCRT’s own Settings → Premium section.
Try Restore Purchases in Settings → Premium. If that doesn’t resolve it, email savdiddy@me.com with your Apple ID’s email (not your payment details) and roughly when you subscribed.
